We always follow national rules about film ratings, and if you’re lucky enough to be looking younger than the film’s rating, we’ll have to ask to see some ID.
Another reason you could be asked for ID is to make sure you’re getting the right ticket for your film. Our ticket types can be found here.
We know it can be difficult, especially for our younger guests, to have appropriate ID to hand and as such ODEON, along with the UK Cinema Association are proud to support and accept Yoti.
Yoti is a free digital ID and proof of age that can be brought up on any smart phone.
To find out more about Yotie - click here or download the app from your app store.
We also accept all the following forms of ID:
- Passport
- Photo driving licence
- Student or school pass (this must show your photo and date of birth)
- Older person’s bus pass
- ID from another age-related scheme, such as PASS, Portman Prove It! or International Student Identity Card (ISIC)
If you do not have valid ID with you, you will be asked to choose another film.
